Do you agree with Francis Bacon – that Knowledge is Power?

If you have ever worked to obtain a college degree or – for that matter – learned how to read and write, then you are living proof that Francis Bacon was right in 1597, when he first uttered the words Scientia protestas est – knowledge is power.

From knowledge, you gain new skills, that you can apply to earn a living and achieve success. How about learning skills so you can become a successful inventor? Stay with me, I'll get to that shortly.

You can gain knowledge and new skills simply by reading books.

But, in biblical times, 97% of the people were illiterate. How did they learn and gain new skills? They learned through oral tradition – still the most dominant form of communication – throughout the world – today.

Read on to learn how we can help 1 million inventors to succeed – via a modern oral tradition – through the power of podcasting.

The Power of Podcasting – the 21st Century – Oral Tradition for Training

What we know in this age of the Internet is that people are reading less (except on their cell phone screens) and listening more. Whereas only 19% of adults regularly read for pleasure, 26% listen to podcasts monthly. Over 74 million adults in the U.S. listen to podcasts monthly.

Podcasts can provide a great deal of valuable information to listeners.

John Lee Dumas – called JLD by faithful followers – has achieved amazing personal success through his podcast – Entrepreneur on Fire. With over 2,060 podcasts since 2013, he reaches millions of listeners, worldwide, every month. Through his books, The Freedom Journal and The Mastery Journal, he provides valuable training for readers. Additionally over 3,000 people have learned how to do podcasting – including me – through his online course, Podcasters Paradise.

My point is that podcasts are a powerful and convenient medium to provide valuable information to millions of listeners during their 26 minute commute to work.

Finally a Podcast for Inventors – Inventors Helping Inventors

While there are over 10 million issued patents, less than 5% of inventors ever profit from their products. There are millions of frustrated inventors who have great products, because they are unable to gain real traction in the marketplace. For many years, I was one of them.

I've had the good fortune of finally achieving success with my invention – the Wonder Wallet – and now, I leverage what I have learned to help other inventors. But, I need your help!

You can help me with an audacious goal – to help 1 million inventors to succeed – through my new podcast for inventors called Inventors Helping Inventors. It is available on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play and Spotify now.

Every Monday, I interview interesting, successful inventors asking them the questions you want answered. But, how can a podcast help you and other inventors to succeed?

Here's how.

Every week, you'll learn valuable tools, tips, and tactics from successful inventors while you're commuting to work or working out.

In the last 3 weeks alone, I have interviewed millionaire inventors like Stephen Key, Josh Malone, and Barbara Pitts. If you listened, you would have learned how cutting corners on packaging cost Karina and Jared Rabin over $100,000 and two big retailers. You would have learned how two sisters' simple poster board idea has sold over $300 million in the marketplace. Next week, you'll learn about George Burkhardt's backdoor marketing technique to get to executive decision-makers to license his products.

That is just the beginning. Over 500 inventors have already downloaded Inventors Helping Inventors.

But, just like JLD, I have a much larger vision and an audacious goal.

I want to help 1 million inventors to succeed.
